Northeast Anthony Henday Drive (NEAHD) Ring Road Project

The North East Anthony Henday Drive is part of Alberta Government’s Building Alberta commitment to support the economy and increase market access by focusing on capital plan projects for primary transportation corridors.
Dragados was chosen by Alberta Transportation to construct the design-build North East Anthony Henday Drive, using an alternative financing and procurement (AFP) model. From Manning Drive to just south of Whitemud Drive, the project includes the construction of a new 27 km of six-and eight-lane roadway, 9 interchanges, 2 road flyovers, 8 rail crossings (flyovers), and 2 bridges across the North Saskatchewan River. The Project was completed in 2014, and provides commuters with a safe and efficient transport corridor throughout Edmonton.
